Enhancing Communication, Improving Behavior, and Enriching Relationships between Animals and Humans

Sean Senechal and Chal

We educate both humans and animals how to enhance 2-way communication which facilitates behavior modification. Humans learn to recognize, respond, teach, and modify animal communications. Animals learn to communicate more clearly using their natural language, as well as learn a new communication tool- AnimalSign. It provides mental stimulation, a fun way to manage behavior, and enhanced skills for companionship, service, or sport. This enriches activities, bonding, relationships, understanding, and well-being.

We offer many ways to educate on human-animal communication, behavior, and enrichment activities.

Speaking Engagements

(Book & Dog Signings, Seminars, Lectures)

Sean appears with, or without, her dogs for the Book Signings. She'll discuss her book and experiences, inviting the audience to comment.
For Seminars and Lectures Sean will dynamically present various conceptual, informative, and practical topics. These can range from AnimalSign to Animal Cognition (language and intelligence) to Animal Training. These are tailored for you, the general public, animal enthusiasts, human and animal services/rescues, as well as professional and academic groups. Events can be for private clubs, trade shows, organizations, company events, to professional/academic institutions and conferences. Presentations can be in person, by teleconference, phone, or webinar.

Therapy

(Private or Group)

Sean will consult closely with you to tailor lessons for people or animals with (or providing) special needs services.

People can be children to seniors, with disabilities and challenges (such as autism, hearing and visual impairment, psychological issues) in classes, organizations, or at home.

Therapy dogs visit to educate and expose children and adults to the value of special dogs helping special people. Visits can be to your therapists, doctors, schools, or other events. Visits can last several hours and can involve children reading with, just sitting, watching, walking, or petting the dog. The dog will communicate to the children, and the children will learn how to communicate to dogs. This type of interaction promotes bonding, known to facilitate learning.

Therapy can be provided to Equine Facilitated Therapy Centers where horses take on special needs riders. We educate the horses, the volunteers and staff, and the riders in EquineSign. This enables staff to positively manage behavior and improve communication and bonding between all people and horse.
